Credit Training Helps Sharpen Internal Credit Analysts
January 23, 2018 -By:

At Cobblestone Management we recognize that primary challenges for community banks today is finding the capacity to develop internal credit analysts and junior lenders. We take pride in keeping our team at the forefront of the ever-changing regulatory landscape. Staying abreast of these changes, as well as staying on top evolving technologies, tools, and processes, is integral to ongoing team development and training.

Based on market demand, we have taken our internal programs to the next level by incorporating lessons learned from our professional engagements. Our program utilizes case studies, internal expertise and team-based learning techniques to create a superior credit training platform. We piloted the Credit Training Program in December of 2017 in Boston. The inaugural class sold out and the participants came away with deep insights in the topics covered, with techniques and actionable steps to grow in their careers and help their institutions.

Topics we will cover in a group setting over four days include cash flow analysis, debt capacity, commercial real estate valuation methodologies, stress testing and sensitivity analysis, business asset valuation and liquidation techniques, and underwriting practice, to list a few.

Based on participant feedback and client request we are pleased to offer the Credit Training Program in March 2018. Registration is now open and expected to fill out soon.
